Environmental and Social Responsibility Policy

for

Home Hall Bed and Breakfast

At Home Hall we are committed to working and running our business in a sustainable way, and we are undertaking the following actions in order to achieve this:

·        We comply with the requirements of environmental legislation and approved codes of practice.

·        We continuously seek to improve our environmental and social performance.

·       We reduce pollution, emissions and waste.

·        We reduce the use of energy, water and other resources.

·        We raise awareness and encourage participation in sustainable business practices.

·        We hope for similar environmental standards from all suppliers and contractors.

·        We encourage guests to use products and services in an environmentally sensitive way.

·        We have minimised our risks associated with social and environmental issues.

·        We have applied to join the Green Tourism Business Scheme, as an indicator of our sustainable practices.

We would like to ask you, as our guest and visitor, to help us. Therefore, in the Guests Information Folder in each room there is a more detailed list of how we are trying to be more environmentally aware and has suggestions of what you can do to be a greener visitor. We hope that you may be stimulated by these ideas and take a few away with you to try at home.
