Suddenly 2 days ago, all computer related/phone lines down and broken.

    Chaos in the shops/restaurants/supermarkets/banks!

No one could use their cards/access cash/buy petrol.

WHAT HAPPENED??-a gang of misguided criminals thought the fibre optic cables were housed in expensive copper, with a nice line in black market sale.They arrived cut all the undersea cables( found no copper) and left hurriedly!

      Until nothing worked in the North west Highlands the next day/suddenly we were plunged back into the past,no computers working throughout the area,so everything came to a BIG HALT.

   B.T has given us some emerency cover, but it is apparently a huge difficult task to mend, so if coming to the Highlands bring an old fashioned cheque book,and may be a little cash.

    Usually it is the weather that is a perennial problem, now with 7 weeks dry/hot weather,something else has come to take its place,even the midges pale by comparison, Louise/ collies and emergency cover for tonight!!!
