From Kirkwall Tourist Information Centre

Go out onto A964 (Orphir). Go for 7 miles to Houton. Ferry to Lyness(http://www.orkneyferries.co.uk), booking advised.

On leaving Lyness ferry terminal turn right at the T-junction (B9048) and follow road as it winds down to a small bridge, cross the bridge and Millhouse is the Second house on the right.

From Stromness Tourist Information Centre

Turn right onto the Ferry Road (A965) go for 2.5 miles, turn right onto A964 (Orphir) for 5 miles to Houton. Ferry to Lyness then same as above.
