Oran Mara has been awarded ‘Milky Way’ status for it's star spotting skies; you can see the Milky Way from the B&B garden, or from your room window on a clear night.

There are no street lights within approximately10 miles of Oran Mara thus fantastic star scapes.

As a registered Dark Skies area visitors know what amazing stars you can be seen  around Melvaig and Gairloch.
