FacilitiesA full Scottish breakfast is served at a time to suit personal requirements in the resident's dining room. There is also a resident's lounge where guests can sit over a cup of tea or coffee in the evening in front of a welcoming log fire.
As well as tourist information pertaining to local attractions there are also board games and books available for visitors to borrow whilst visiting. The summer evenings are long and the weather remarkably mild allowing visitors to sit out, if they should so wish, in the mature gardens that surround the house.
Although evening meals are not provided, guests are welcome to use the dining room in the evening if they so wish, and there is an excellent fish and chip shop and Chinese takeaway in the village. If guests wish to use this facility crockery, cutlery and tea/coffee will be provided. There are also a number of restaurants in the village which provide a wide range of eating options.
There is plenty of off-road parking and covered storage for motorbikes and sports equipment. We have drying facilities should guests need them for both sports clothing and equipment.
If needed, a cot is available. Well behaved dogs are always welcome.
