92 Little Vennel, Cromarty

This charming old cottage is set on the waterfront in the heart of the historic fishertown of Cromarty.

It has been tastefully renovated to a very high standard offering comfort and style.

It is unusual in having a large picture window in its first floor lounge which gives unparalleled views of the Sutors and the Cromarty Firth.

Cromarty is situated at the end of the distinctive Black Isle only half an hours drive from the Highland capital Inverness  in the heart of the  Scottish Highlands.

It is a fantastic base to explore, walk the nearby cliffs and coasts, mountain bike the trails at the new hub, Learnie Red Rock or dolphin watch with Ecoventures from the picturesque harbour. Take the smallest ferry in Britain across the Cromarty Firth to taste whiskey  at the famous Glenmorangie Distillery and visit the imposing Dunrobin Castle.Go West to the magical Isle of Skye or South to see the famous Loch Ness monster.

There is great local sailing with clubs at the Harbour and nearby Chanonry.  Scotland being the home of Golf means there is a multitude of great Links courses available from the Royal Dornoch to the nearby Fortrose.

The village is well served with a wonderful Pizza restaurant, Sutor Creek, a hotel and pub both serving food, a fantastic bakery,  a little but well stocked supermarket and a Post Office.

We also have a great sandy beach with grass areas for the kids to play.
